SB-1800 can be used for truck bodies, vans, cars, garbage and refuse trucks, dumpsters and other vehicle and transportation applications. SB-1800 is a one-part, super high solids, extremely fast curing, easy to apply, long-lasting sealant. It offers excellent sealing qualities to metal, wood, glass, painted steel, aluminum, bonderized metals, resin board, plywood, flake board, foam board, composition board, FRP, and most plastics and other rigid building materials. It has instant water resistance upon application and is tack-free in 40 to 60 minutes. SB-1800 does not sag and is ideal for side panel and overhead applications. SB-1800 is perfect for all field applications with an application temperature from -20° to 140° F. For spot welding, apply SB-1800 between metal for overlap seals and immediately spot-weld through the metal and sealant. Sb-1800 has no shrinkage and thus is excellent for sheet metal assembly.  It also stays flexible and heat-resistant for years of service. This saves costly secondary sealing operations while producing a far better finish. It reduces sealant usage by 50% and increases by over 800%. 

RTMINI Adhesive Attachment:

All surface areas that are to come in contact with SB-1800 are to be wiped with isopropyl alcohol and allowed to dry. Adhesive or sealant should be applied so as to completely cover the underside of the device before it is positioned, and sufficient compression should be created to squeeze adhesive out its perimeter and a bead of the same material should be applied around the base to create a waterproof joint free of gaps and air pockets. One 10.3 oz tube will adhere approximately 14 to 16 RTMINI Snow Guards.
